• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with demonstrated progression into technical leadership roles.
• C1 English level or higher.
• Proven experience leading, mentoring, and scaling engineering teams of 10 or more developers.
• Deep technical expertise in Python and FastAPI for production backend systems.
• Expert-level knowledge of React and TypeScript for modern frontend architecture.
• Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure across both AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Production-level experience integrating LLM services, including the OpenAI API.
• Strong foundation in system architecture design at scale, REST API design, and Agile delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical architecture for a high-scale platform serving millions of users.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed team of 10 to 15 software engineers across LATAM.
• Maintain hands-on development contribution, including writing code and conducting active code reviews.
• Own and optimize cloud infrastructure strategy and operations across AWS and GCP environments.
• Architect and implement secure, reliable AI and LLM integrations to enhance the core product experience.
• Collaborate directly with product, business, and executive stakeholders to align technical roadmaps with organizational goals.

Stepping into a leadership transition, you will take full ownership of the technical direction while remaining hands-on with development. The platform integrates learning science with AI capabilities, requiring you to design systems that scale responsibly and embed large language model (LLM) services into core product experiences. You will lead and mentor a distributed team of 10 to 15 engineers across LATAM. Your scope spans cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP, full-stack development in Python and React, and the integration of AI services.
