• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, specifically building and scaling backend applications in production.
• Proven expertise with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, NoSQL databases, and caching strategies.
• C1 English level or higher.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling the core financial infrastructure that powers global workforce payments. You will take end-to-end ownership of backend services, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security for transactional systems operating across multiple countries. Working in a highly collaborative, remote-first environment, you will solve complex technical challenges related to distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and high-throughput data processing.
